While in between shooting outfits, I passed a vintage shop just a little outside the center of Antwerp. While this particular shop had caught my eye quite a few times, I never found the time to actually walk in and check out the stock.
Being overwhelmed by the typical second-hand store smell, I immediately fell like I was home. Let me tell you, I am not a ‘browser’ when it comes to shopping. I am a ‘scanner’ and what I do is, I scan through racks looking for interesting colors or patterns. I am definitely not the type of girl that goes through every rack of clothing and literally has to see every item. Nope.
With that being said, I laid my eyes upon this leather jacket. Color? check! Oversized? check! On the back it says ‘Singular Air mail’. I did some research and all I could find was more vintage jackets of the same brand (I assume it’s a brand?) which tells me that this kind of jacket used to be worn a lot in the ’80s. And today, I am a proud owner of that piece of heritage!
